1mm BGPL
  • Both the Lifescience (LS) and Materials Analysis (MA) series of EVOŽ microscopes make use of the BeamSleeveŽ to improve contrast in imaging and accuracy in microanalysis in Variable Pressure and Environmental modes.
  • The BeamSleeveŽ minimizes beam gas path length (BGPL) and therefore maximizes the information content of images and microanalytical accuracy. The new BeamSleeveŽ enables a beam gas path length (BGPL) of only 1 mm to be employed whilst maintaining full line of sight sensitivity to the BSD.
  • A 1 mm BGPL establishes Carl Zeiss as the leading supplier of VP and environmental SEMs enabling previously unattainable, information rich, images and accurate microanalysis.
