Carl Zeiss (Pty) Ltd. has agreed to acquire the remaining shareholding in ANASPEC (Pty) Ltd. as part of Carl Zeiss’ continuing investments into customer support and service delivery. The business, with offices in South Africa and Australia, is to be known as ANASPEC, a Division of Carl Zeiss and will continue to provide technical service and support to a global customer base of electron microscope systems manufactured by Carl Zeiss’ Nano Technology Systems Division. Within South and Southern Africa the technical support and service capabilities which have driven the success of ANASPEC will be incorporated into the Carl Zeiss service team in order to provide a world class service solution for local markets in the Medical Systems, Microscopy and Industrial Measurement Technology Groups. Carl Zeiss (Pty) Ltd. is a member of the Carl Zeiss Group, a globally leading international group of companies in the optical and optoelectronic industry.
