Under the motto "Win / Win through Networks in a Volatile Environment", the ten invited Supply Chain Partners and partner candidates of Carl Zeiss SMTdiscussed possible joint approaches to this subject during the Suppliers' Day on June 10. The aim of the motto is to sensitize and motivate: "The semiconductor market, a key driver of our business, operates in a very cyclical and highly competitive environment and changes at very short time intervals. The goal of the Suppliers' Day was to identify possible consequences for the supply chain at an early stage and to develop measures that will help all participants to optimally position themselves in this market, ", explained Peter Schlindwein, Director Supply Chain Management at Carl Zeiss SMT.
Highlight: Presentation of the 2007 Supplier Award
With this award, Carl Zeiss SMT honored suppliers for outstanding supply and product performance for the second time. The award presentation took place in the evening.
