Majorca's only planetarium, located in the center of the island, forms part of the "Observatori Astroṇmic de Mallorca" (OAM), an observatory enjoying a high scientific reputation.
The planetarium's primary aim is to disseminate astronomical knowledge, especially among school children and young people. It has been equipped by Carl Zeiss with a ZKP 3 projection machine and extensive audiovisual equipment. |
