Hungary's only large-dome planetarium is run by the Society for the Dissemination of Scientific Knowledge. The building, a fine piece of architecture in the Népliget Park, is used for various kinds of events. Since the opening of the planetarium, its team has created more than 60 shows on astronomical and space travel subjects.
The TIT Planetarium is also known for its special entertainment shows performed regularly since 1979. These are remarkable compositions of laser effects, pictorial projections and music. |
